Nearly 1,400 new Covid cases and 13 new deaths registered in Scotland in the past 24hrs
Scotland has recorded 13 coronavirus deaths and 1,398 new cases in the past 24 hours, the latest Scottish Government figures show.
It brings the death toll under the daily measure – of people who first tested positive for the virus within the previous 28 days – to 7,924.
The daily test positivity rate is 4.6%, down from 4.8% the previous day.
A total of 490 people were in hospital on Thursday with recently confirmed Covid-19, up 16 on the previous day, with 60 patients in intensive care, down three.
So far, 4,005,421 people have received the first dose of a Covid-19 vaccination and 3,145,017 have received their second dose.
