THE University of Glasgow wants to hire a sample handler to work at their Covid-19 testing centre.
The position is full-time and would be based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital's Lighthouse Laboratory in Govan. The salary is £17,682.
The job advert reads: "The University of Glasgow is offering the exciting opportunity to become part of the Lighthouse Laboratory in Glasgow team and play a critical role in the national effort against Covid-19.
"The Lighthouse Laboratory in Glasgow, which has been operational since April 2020, is part of a UK-wide network of Covid-19 Testing Centres.
"It is hosted by the University of Glasgow at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Campus and is playing a vital role in supporting Covid19 testing across the country."
The roles are fixed term contracts up March 31, 2022 and you will be required to work a four day on four day off shift pattern.
