A SECOND serving police officer was fined for joining Rangers 55th title celebrations in Glasgow city centre, it has been revealed.
The Scottish Sun reports that the 26-year-old was amongst the revellers who gathered in George Square and other city centre spots to mark the historic occasion.
The newspaper says that he was given a fixed penalty over claims he defied orders from top cops to avoid the party which happened when Rangers were confirmed Scottish Premiership champions.
A Freedom of Information request revealed the action was taken. It is understood another officer, 23, also faced disciplinary action.

A Police Scotland statement said: "Two police officers have been identified as being at the locations detailed. The circumstances will be considered by the Professional Standards Department.”
Rangers fans were celebrating their team's victory in the Scottish Premiership, their first major title in a decade on May 15.
Things began peacefully, police said at the time, but ended with a number of assaults on officers and a public order dispersal notice being issued to clear riotous scenes in George Square.
Over 50 people have been arrested so far.
