Body found in search for missing woman Catriona Gaskell
A BODY has been found in the search for missing woman Catriona Gaskell.
At around 10.45am today, officers looking for the doctor, known as Cat, discovered a body in a wooded area in Newton, Cambuslang.
Police say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the 29-year-old's death.
Formal identification has still to take place, but Cat's family has been informed. They have asked that their privacy be respected at this very distressing time.
A full report will be forwarded to the procurator fiscal.
