There was high drama on the pitch, when Aberdeen’s Gordon Strachan was attacked by a fan during a match against Celtic. Two police officers rushed on to deal with the situation.
Celtic legend Roy Aitken, who made more than 480 league appearances for the Parkhead club, is pictured here in July, 1980.
There were injury woes for Rangers in December, with Ally Dawson, Derek Johnstone, Jim Bett and Ian Redford all out of action.
