A POPULAR Glasgow nightclub will reopen its doors tonight following a lengthy closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Garage, on Sauchiehall Street, will welcome clubbers back after a long-awaited return.

Despite being given the go-ahead to open earlier this month, bosses at the club decided to wait a bit longer to review Covid-19 safety measures and plan events.

Glasgow Times:

One floor of the club suffered from a leak due to a burst water pipe, as seen on TikTok on Tuesday night.

A video of the G2 floor was posted on the social media platform, which showed work being undertaken to sort the damage.

But the leak will not be affecting the reopening night tonight - in the comments on the TikTok video, the club's account said only the G2 floor will be closed for a "few extra days".

Those planning to attend are being advised to arrive early to avoid any queues.

A new resident DJ has been announced - Clyde 1's Callum Gallacher.
