TWO PEOPLE were taken to hospital following a fire in Bishopbriggs yesterday.
Firefighters responded to Graham Terrace after the alarm was raised at around 10pm.
Operations Control mobilised three appliances to the scene to tackle the blaze.
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that two casualties were treated for smoke inhalation, before being transferred to hospital by the Scottish Ambulance Service.
The fire was extinguished and crews left the area at around 10.44pm.

A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were alerted to a fire at Graham Terrace, Bishopbriggs at 10.03pm on Friday, 27 August.
"Operations Control mobilised three appliances to the scene where two casualties were treated for smoke inhalation, before being transferred to hospital by the Scottish Ambulance Service.
"Crews extinguished the fire and left the scene at 10.44pm.”
