A motorcyclist has been rushed to hospital following a crash on a busy road.
Officers were called to Peat Road in Glasgow after the alarm was raised at around 5.40pm yesterday.
It is understood the incident involved two vehicles, a car and a motorbike.
A 55-year-old man, the motorcyclist, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

Police confirmed that the male driver of the car will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with alleged road traffic offences.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received report a two-vehicle crash, involving a car and a motorbike, on Peat Road in Glasgow around 5.40pm on Saturday, 28 August, 2021.
"The 55-year-old male motorcyclist was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
"The male driver of the car will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with road traffic offences."
