SCORES of homes near Glasgow have been hit by water supply problems this morning.
Scottish Water chiefs are probing reports the PA2 area of Paisley, Renfrewshire, is currently suffering interruption to its network due to a burst main.
The postcode includes the Foxbar and Castlehead areas of the town and its Royal Alexandra Hospital. There is no suggestion at this time that the medical hub has been affected.

It is also unclear how many homes and businesses have been left without water.
In an update this morning, Scottish Water chiefs wrote: "Customers in Paisley PA2 have reported an interruption to their water supply.
"We are currently on the way to investigate the issue and are aiming to be on site as soon as possible.
"While we investigate, please be aware that you may experience no water supply or low/intermittent water pressure. You may also experience discoloured water."
This is a developing story. More to follow.
