TWO men were taken to hospital last night after a disturbance outside Glasgow Central. 

Gordon Street, close to the entrance, was cordoned off by police at around 11.40pm and officers say a group of people were involved. 

Cops are now appealing for witnesses who may have been in the area at the time.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a disturbance involving a group of people on Gordon Street in Glasgow around 11.40pm on Sunday, August 29.

“Two men were taken to hospital for treatment following the incident and enquiries are ongoing.

“Anyone with information can call 101, quoting 4659 of August 29.”
