TRANSPORT cops were called to Carntyne station earlier this evening after concerns for the welfare of a member of the public.
Emergency services were called to the East End and services between Milngavie and Motherwell via Cumbernauld at around 6pm and trains were stopped for a short period.

The nature of the incident is not yet clear, but passengers are warned to expect some disruption as services start again.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: "British Transport Police were called to Carntyne railway station, Glasgow, at 5.43pm today following concerns for the welfare of a woman.
"Officers attended, and the woman has been taken to a place of safety."
