BOSSES at one of Partick's most favourite bars have teased their customers with the prospect of opening a new pub in Glasgow.

Owners at the Thornwood Bar on Dumbarton Road have revealed that a new set of keys will be handed over today for their second premises in the city.

Clues have been dropped about food, beers and cocktails being involved but bosses kept tight-lipped about the new venue's location.

A Tweet reads: "All things going well, there’s a new set of pub keys being handed over today.

"Keep an eye out and all shall be revealed. Food, beers, cocktails."

Floods of fans of the West End spot replied to the Tweet, with one punter hopeful the bar would open in Scotstoun.

But, management replied: "Sorry pal."

Another customer suggested: "The Pollokshaws Pyrex Pit."

But the Thornwood replied: "Mate, what did we say about confidentiality."

We're on the edge of our seats in anticipation of what's to come!
