LIAM Gallagher has revealed he is "buzzing" for Glasgow's TRNSMT festival.

The singer-songwriter is set to headline the Main Stage at Scotland's largest music festival in Glasgow Green on September 11.

On Twitter, he told one fan he is excited. Replying to a Tweet asking if he's all set, he wrote: "Buzzing for transmit love Scotland" with an emoji of a Scotland flag.

The Oasis star also replied to another fan, who asked: "Liam how’s the voice for Glasgow? What do you do to keep it in tip-top condition? You looking forward to Belfast too?"

He wrote back: "Oh it’ll be biblical".

Another fan praised Gallagher headlining Leeds and Reading festivals after some complained he shouldn't have.

He said of the critics: "F*** them Bumbaclarts. I’m the real deal."
