TRSNMT returns to Glasgow Green this weekend, bringing some of the biggest names in music to Scotland's largest city. 

The three day festival will see thousands of people gather to watch headliners Courteeners, Liam Gallagher and The Chemical Brothers take the main stage

Veteran festival goers are used to all weather conditions, whether it be baking sunshine or pouring rain. 

But what is the forecast for TRNSMT this weekend?

What is the weather forecast for TRNSMT? 

Currently the weather forecast looks fairly grey over the three days of TRNSMT festival. 

Friday could see some sunshine pop through the clouds at times, with a 40% chance of showers throughout the day, according to the Met Office. 

It will also be the warmest day of the festival, with temperatures hovering around the 19 degree mark and feeling like 18. 

While Saturday looks cloudier than Friday, there is a much lower chance of rain, starting at 20% as the action kicks off and reducing to 10% as the day continues. 

The temperature will drop slightly to 17 degrees, feeling more like 15. 

Sunday will see a very similar day to Saturday, with a 10% chance of rain and temperatures in the mid teens. 

Meanwhile, Friday and Saturday could see wind gusts of up to 20mph later in the afternoon, before this reduces slightly on Sunday. 

Friday's winds will largely be in a south westerly direction, while on Saturday and Sunday it will blow different directions throughout the day. 

All in all, it currently looks like you should head to TRNSMT prepared for the potential of rain and slightly colder temperatures at points.
