TWO men were arrested and charged over an alleged serious assault in Maryhill after a dramatic crash nearby.
The men, aged 36 and 37, were arrested in connection with an alleged attack in Braeside Street, which is said to have taken place just before a smash involving a white Arnold Clark van and a grey car on Sunday afternoon.
It is not known if anyone was hurt in the crash.
The two men will appear in Glasgow Sheriff Court at a later date, police said, and have been released from custody in the meantime.
A spokeswoman for the force said: "Two men aged 36 and 37 have been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged serious assault.
"They have both been released from custody to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court at a later date.
"A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
