COURTEENERS frontman Liam Fray said he was on "cloud nine" after the band's headline performance at TRNSMT last night.

Fray, who donned a kilt for last night's performance called the experience "life-affirming."

Posting on Instagram, he said: "Well that was life affirming. To headline that festival, in that city, with YOU. F*** me…it doesn’t and won’t, get any better than that

"The stuff dreams are made of. If you need me in the next few days, don’t bother because I’ll be on cloud 9.

The Manchester rockers performed a hit-filled set last night and opened with a bagpiper, charming the Glasgow crowd.

The band previously played the festival in 2018.
