A KILLER who murdered a man in a savage Pollokshields street attack has died behind bars.
Asif Rehman, an inmate at HMP Shotts, North Lanarkshire, passed away shortly after being rushed to hospital when he became unwell.
Prison chiefs confirmed the brute — who was jailed for life over the murder of Irishman William McKeeney in 2012 — died on Monday morning.

The monster stamped his victim to death, alongside Adel Ishaq, on Melville Street as his partner Anne-Marie Newland watched on in horror from her window. The thugs were deemed "a serious danger to the public" upon conviction.
A Scottish Prison Service spokesman said: "Asif Rehman, 29, a prisoner from HMP Shotts has died on September 13, 2021.
"He was convicted at Edinburgh High Court in 2012. Police Scotland have been advised and the matter reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
"A Fatal Accident Inquiry will be held in due course."
