TRAFFIC ground to a halt on a busy motorway this afteroon after a crash.
The smash happened at the M8's junction 24 eastbound, close to Helen Street in Govan.
Drivers have been warned to keep a close eye on road conditions as surface spray is affecting traffic following heavy rain across the central belt today.

The crash was cleared minutes later and all lanes are running again but motorists in the area should expect heavy traffic.
