A MAN was attacked by three other men on a busy train and sustained serious injuries.
The thugs gave the man a black eye and a laceration to the forehead as he and his partner boarded the service from Glasgow Queeen Street to Easterhouse on Saturday.
It is understood he had a verbal spat with the men, before they attacked him.

The first man in the group is described as white, 6ft tall, in his early 40s and of slim build. He was wearing a long black bomber jacket with a Celtic football shirt and an earring. The second was a white male with short brown hair, blue eyes.
The third is described as white, 5ft 10, in his late 30s and of average build. He had blonde hair and a stubble, wearing a red top.
Officers are urging passengers to come forward from what was an "extremely busy" service. British Transport Police officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have footage on phones or witnessed the incident.
