A MURDER suspect has appeared in court accused of shooting a man to death.

Malcolm McNee was allegedly involved in the killing of John McGregor, 44, in Glasgow’s Milton on August 26.

Prosecutors claim the 59 year-old initially exited a vehicle driven by an unknown male in the city’s Westray Street with a shot gun or similar item.

He is said to have aimed it at unknown persons causing them to flee.

McNee allegedly re-entered the car before again getting out and presenting the shotgun at Mr McGregor before discharging the firearm and striking him on the body.

McNee made no plea to the murder charge at a private hearing in Glasgow Sheriff Court today.

He was remanded in custody pending further inquiries by Sheriff Shona Gilroy.

McNee, of Stirling, will appear in court again within eight days.
