UPDATE: Tradeston Street: Man dies after 'taking unwell' in Glasgow as police close streets
A BUSY Glasgow road is currently closed to all traffic due to an ongoing police incident.
Glasgow City Council's Traffic Control and Management (TRAFFCOM) team confirmed that Kingston Street is closed at its junction with West Street.
The announcement reads: "Kingston Street is currently closed to all traffic at its junction with West Street due to an ongoing police incident.
"Road users should consider alternate routes if possible."
In an update, TRAFFCOM added that police have extended the closure to Paisley Road (A8) which is also completely closed to eastbound traffic at Seaward Street.
It adds: "Due to the lack of a suitable diversion route police have decided to extend the closure below so that Paisley Road (A8) is now completely closed to all eastbound traffic at Seward Street."
Glasgow Times has contacted Police Scotland for comment.
