A MAN is in hospital after being struck by a bus on a busy road.
The 52-year-old pedestrian had been walking along Main Street in Uddingston before he was hit by the vehicle yesterday afternoon.
He was taken to University Hospital Monklands for treatment to his injuries.

The road reopened one hour after the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We received a report of a road crash, involving a male pedestrian and a bus, on Main Street in Uddingston at 4.25pm on Sunday, September 19.
“The 52-year-old male pedestrian was taken to University Hospital Monklands for treatment and the road was re-opened around 5.30pm."
