A MAN has been arrested following several alleged thefts in East Renfrewshire.
Police say the 43-year-old has been charged with fourteen crimes reportedly "relating to thefts from vehicles and outbuildings" in Newton Mearns.
Officers carried out extensive enquiries, including obtaining a search warrant, following reports of stolen items.
The man will appear in court at a later date.

East Renfrewshire Police said: "Following enquiries, and the execution of a Sheriff's search warrant, a 43-year-old man has been arrested and charged with 14 crimes relating to thefts from vehicles and outbuildings in the Newton Mearns area.
"He is expected to appear at court on a future date."
