AROUND fifteen people were involved in a large fight on a train to Glasgow at the weekend. 

On Saturday, September 18, the rammy broke out on the 11pm Ayr to Glasgow Central service.

Detectives from the British Transport Police (BTP) are investigating the fight and are appealing for witnesses. 

Officers are currently conducting enquiries to establish the full circumstances of what happened.

They say the train was very busy and it’s believed there are a number of witnesses who haven’t yet spoken to police, who may have useful information.
