A WOMAN was taken to hospital following a six-vehicle crash on the M8 last night.
Emergency services were called to the motorway near Hillington at around 9.10pm.
Police initially received reports of a crash between two vehicles, however, six vehicles were involved in the accident.
A 24-year-old woman was taken to the nearby Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

Two lanes of the motorway were closed while recovery for the damaged vehicles was arranged.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police were called around 9.10pm on Wednesday, September 23, 2021, following the initial report of a two-vehicle road crash on the M8 eastbound at junction 26, Hillington.
"A 24-year-old female was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
"As a result of the crash, six vehicles were subsequently involved. Lane one and two of the motorway were temporarily closed while recovery of vehicles was arranged."
