AN AREA in East Kilbride has been taped off by police following an assault last night.
Cops were called at around 9.45pm after the attack near Greenhills Road.
Officers attended to carry out enquiries and an investigation is ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
Several police vehicles have been seen in the area, with a section of woods taped off.
Anyone with information is asked to contact 101.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police were called around 9.45pm on Wednesday, 22 September, 2021 following the report of an assault near Greenhills Road, East Kilbride.
"Officers attended and enquiries are currently ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 3582 of 22/09/21."
