TRAIN services across Glasgow have been blighted by staff shortages this morning and they are set to continue throughout the day.

Services from the city's two main stations are affected.

Here are all services affected by disruption:

  • The 8.08am train from Glasgow to Stranraer terminated at Kilmarnock this morning due to a lack of workers.
  • 10.03am and 10.35 services from Glasgow Queen Street to Anniesland are cancelled as a result of a staff member taking ill.
  • Due to a train fault, some services between Glasgow Queen Street and Edinburgh Waverley are cancelled.
  • The 2.33pm from Larkhall to Dalmuir has been cancelled, affecting services at Glasgow Central low level.
  • 4pm service from Dalmuir to Motherwell has been cancelled, affecting services at Glasgow Central low level.
  • Some services from Helensburgh to Edinburgh Waverley will terminate at Dalmuir including the 12.25pm and 14.37pm.

Services between East Kilbride and Glasgow Central are also affected due to a train fault which means there will be 4 carriages instead of 6.
