A GLASGOW music festival has invited city pubs and bars to join the celebrations as it launches a new app.
CeilidhFest, Glasgow’s newest music and dance festival taking place this November, has urged owners with the facilities to take part in the event as it launches a new app designed to bring the festivities to your phone.
Any venue with the ability to host musicians, small and larger scale events with a theme matching the festival culturally, musically or with a focus on Scottish food and drink can take part for free.
The Ceilidhfest app enables the city's bars to benefit from visitors to the four-week-long festival in venues including The Barrowland Ballroom, Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum, Merchant Square and more.

Venues will have their own presence within the app linking to their diary of events or offerings across November.
Kate Walker, founder of CeilidhFest Glasgow, said: “Ceilidhfest is a gathering and celebration of Glasgow – its people, culture, musicians, artists, hospitality, and entertainment.
"Our bars are key to the whole event as the festival is all about boosting business, bringing visitors, creating jobs in hospitality, retail, and tourism as well as supporting our musicians, venues, and promoting everything that is great about Glasgow.
“It's an opportunity for us to share the biggest warm Glasgow welcome and display of hospitality and celebration – the way only Glaswegians and Glasgow can.”
