Update: A man has been taken to hospital
A CAR ploughed into the back of a lorry in a horror rush hour smash this morning.
The Kingston Bridge has been locked down eastbound as emergency services work to free the motor from underneath the large vehicle.
Pictures from the scene show the wreckage of a car but the condition of those involved remains unknown at this time.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "At around 10.05am officers were called to reports of a two-vehicle crash on the M8 eastbound.
"The road has been closed and emergency services remain on the scene."
The Glasgow Times has contacted the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service for comment.
Traffic Scotland has confirmed that the vehicle has now been recovered and the road has been re-opened.
