A MAN has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting two teenagers while out in public.

William Musleh, 26, admitted a string of offences that took place in Milngavie on May 7 this year.

Appearing from custody at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on October 1, Musleh confessed to sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl, seizing her by the body and pulling her towards him.

He also sexually assaulted a 17-year-old girl and repeatedly attempted to kiss her and touch her on the buttocks.

Musleh, listed in court papers as a prisoner in Greenock, further pleaded to assaulting a 16-year-old boy by repeatedly striking him on the body with a key or similar implement to his injury.

The Crown accepted he was not guilty of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl and pursuing her, seizing hold of her buttocks and pushing her on the body.

Musleh pleaded not guilty to uttering threats of violence while holding a pole and gesticulating in a threatening manner. The Crown also accepted that plea.

Fiscal depute Meghan Glancey told the court the 15-year-old was walking after 6pm on May 7 on a path between Milngavie rail station and the Kwik Fit in Gavin’s Mill Road.

She became aware of Musleh walking towards her and he appeared to be under the influence. He pulled her against him, not saying anything during the encounter.

The girl shortly after met with friends and returned home and police were contacted. Later that evening, Musleh was sitting in Lennox Park with the 17-year-old girl and put his hand on her buttocks and tried to kiss her. She pushed him away and Musleh was asked to leave by another teenager.

Musleh punched the boy in the stomach and he later noticed three small cuts.

When police arrested Musleh, they found blood on his clothing from superficial cuts.

Sheriff William Gallacher said he had “anxiety” about Musleh himself and his presence in the community. He called for a social work report and an additional psychological assessment. He said: “I remain concerned about you, about your behaviour and about your impact on other people.”

Musleh will remain in custody ahead of his sentencing on November 20 and was added to the sex offenders register in the interim.
