Glasgow Times:

Unfortunately, there will still be risk of congestion on these routes due to the high volume of traffic travelling in and out of Glasgow.

The COP26 website advises people "to prepare for your journeys in advance and to also build in flexibility in case of any unexpected disruption."

It adds: "Planned and unplanned road closures and parking restrictions are likely to be in place during COP26 and as we become aware of this information, we will share updates here and via @GetReadyGlasgow.

"During COP26, you may wish to think about how you are going to travel, estimated journey times and the most appropriate mode of transport for your journey.

"Information on public transport during COP26 will be available here in the coming months. For more information on planning your journey in the meantime, visit the Traveline Scotland or download the app."
