Quad bike yobs cause nuisance to local residents as cops step up patrols
YOBS using quad and trail bikes have been causing a nuisance to Hamilton residents.
Officers revealed an increase in complaints around the Meikle Earnock and Eddlewood area as people on the vehicles cause chaos in local parks.
Police patrols have been stepped up in an effort to deter riders and have warned that the activity is illegal.
If caught, offenders risk being charged with various offences and the vehicles will be seized.
Cops warned that the practice is dangerous and puts pedestrians and riders at risk.
