SCOTLAND has recorded over 2,400 new cases of Covid-19 and 18 reported deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the latest figures.
The Scottish Government confirmed that 2,417 people have reported positive test results for Covid-19 since Friday.
This is a decrease from yesterday's figure of 2,627 new cases.
A further 31,935 new tests for Covid-19 were conducted that reported results. Of these 8.1% were positive, an increase from yesterday's positivity rate of 7.9%.
In the last 24 hours, 18 deaths of someone who tested positive for Covid-19 within the previous 28 days were registered.
There were 943 people in hospital yesterday with recently confirmed Covid-19, with 61 patients in intensive care.
So far, Scottish vaccination figures stand at 4,246,101 people having received the first dose of a covid vaccination and 3,859,839 people having received the second dose.
