A FURNITURE company is looking to hire a warehouse porter in Glasgow.
The successful candidate will support and deliver a warehouse operative service to Forrest Furnishing and its customers.
Responsibilities will include storing materials, picking and packing orders, preparing and completing orders for delivery, and loading and unloading vehicles.
The warehouse is based in Whiteinch and the contract is permanent and full-time.
Applicants must have the ability to lift heavy large furniture items and objects with ease.
Work experience in a retail warehouse or furniture removal would be desirable, and a forklift certificate is advantageous.
The salary is described as an “excellent rate of pay with bonus incentive scheme”.

Meanwhile, The Poverty Alliance is looking for an administrative assistant.
The 21-hour a week role has a £21,588 per annum pro rata plus 6% pension and is based in Glasgow.
The post will be responsible for providing administrative support, primarily to our Rights in Action project team, but also across the busy organisation. This will include a wide range of administrative tasks, such as arranging meetings, managing and responding to queries.
