A YOUNG man will appear in court charged with several alleged attempted thefts.
The 21-year-old was charged by officers from the Lanarkshire Division. He was reportedly attempting to steal from a number of properties and sheds in Hamilton.
Officers worked with colleagues from Police Scotland Dogs to arrest him.
The reported incidents took place around 10pm on Monday, October 11 at Blair Athol Gardens, Leys Park, Sutherland Crescent, Argyle Drive, Udston Road and High Blantyre Road.

He is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court today.
