A MCDONALD's restaurant in Glasgow city centre has been boarded up.
The Sauchiehall Street branch has been covered, with a sign directing customers to the nearest restaurant on Argyle Street.
It has been confirmed that the fast food store is undergoing an "exciting new refurbishment".
A McDonald's spokesperson said the renovation will be finished ahead of COP26, which is being held in the city from Sunday, October 31 and Friday, November 12.
