POLICE have provided an update after a Southside street was taped off earlier today.
We previously reported that a man was found injured on Butterbiggings Road, Govanhill, at around 5.55am.
The street was locked down, with multiple officers at the scene, and crime tape put up.
Officers have since confirmed that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.
The road has been reopened to the public.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers received a report of a man being found injured on Butterbiggins Road, Glasgow, around 5.55am this morning.
"The man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment and the road was closed for a number of hours whilst officers investigated the full circumstances.
"These enquiries have now established that there were no suspicious circumstances and the road has since reopened.
"Police would like to thank the public for their assistance and understanding."
