THERE have been 2,581 new cases of Covid-19 reported in Scotland in the last 24 hours.
According to Scottish Government statistics, there have been 21 deaths reported in the same period.
A further 28,984 new tests for Covid-19 have been conducted that reported results, of which 9.5% were positive.
This is an increase from Friday's positivity rate of 8.2%.
There were 841 people in hospital yesterday with recently confirmed Covid-19, with 47 patients in intensive care.
So far, Scottish vaccination figures show 4,282,132 people have received the first dose of a Covid vaccination and 3,875,966 people have received the second dose.
Yesterday, a total of 2,762 new cases and 32 reported deaths were recorded in Scotland.
