A MAN has died following a fire at a flat in Glasgow's West End.
Officers were called to Dumbarton Road near to Ardsloy Place in Scotstoun yesterday at around 4.25pm.
Emergency services remained at the scene this morning after the fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
Police Scotland confirmed a 61-year-old man died at the scene.
A joint investigation with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service is ongoing to establish the cause of the fire.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A 61-year-old man has died following a fire at a flat on Dumbarton Road near to Ardsloy Place, Scotstoun, Glasgow on Saturday, October 16, 2021.
"Police and emergency services were called to the fire around 4.25pm on Saturday afternoon. The man, who was the householder and alone in the flat at the time, died at the scene.
"A joint investigation with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service is ongoing to establish the cause of the fire. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
