The Met Office has released the weather forecast for Essex this weekend, with it being rather overcast or rainy in most areas of the county.
Autumn is known for its crisp and dry sunny spells along with storms which the country has experienced plenty of this week.
That was evidenced with the floods during Wednesday night thanks to excessive rainfall which caused many roads to be shut.
Whilst the rain will return in many places, it won't quite be to the level seen earlier in the week.
Here's what the weather will be like in various places around Essex
What will the weekend weather be like in Southend?
Saturday starts out with some promise for Southend with a slight chance of sun in the morning, but it will slowly change to darker clouds being present in the sky.
It's nearly the #weekend and for many it'll be a breezy one with #rain at times
