GLASGOW-based Japanese restaurant Pickled Ginger has started a green initiative ahead of COP26.
The popular eatery is vouching to plant a tree after every £15 they make during COP26 to encourage their customers to make small changes that benefit the environment.
The event will start on Monday, October 25 and go on until the last day of the UN climate talks in Glasgow.

Callum Docherty, General Manager of Pickled Ginger, said: "We believe every tree has the power to change the future of our planet for the better.
"That’s why we put down roots and launched the 'Plant One On Pickled Ginger' initiative."
The restaurant's goal is to generate enough traffic over the four weeks to plant 1000 trees.
In their journey towards becoming gradually greener, Pickled Ginger has already introduced a reduce and recycle policy and zero waste on single-use plastic in the restaurant.
They have also unveiled a new, new eco-friendly logo to help spread the word on social media.
