GLASGOW is set to endure 'persistent' heavy rain this weekend.
Heavy showers are expected to roll over the city causing disruption to travel with a yellow weather warning in place from 9pm today until 9am tomorrow.
The Met Office said spray and flooding on roads is to be expected as well as bus and train services potentially taking longer.

Rain is predicted to fall from 7pm this evening with the forecaster warning that flooding of a few homes and businesses is possible.
The city will see temperatures remaining fairly steady throughout the day with highs of 13-14 degrees.
The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) have also issued a flood alert for West Central Scotland.
