THIS is the moment Walter Smith had Tam Cowan and Ally McCoist in stitches during a cheeky interview.

Footage has resurfaced today of the BBC Scotland host quizzing Smith ahead of a Scotland game in 2006 about who the Rangers legend was going to support at that year's World Cup.

Things begin gently when Cowan says: "Sadly Scotland will not be at this World Cup but this summer who are you supporting?"

After a moment, Smith replies: "Brazil. I like Brazilians and, I think they have outstanding players."

Without a moment's hesitation and a twinkle in his eye, Cowan asks: : You like Brazilians in general, Walter?"

To which Smith cheekily says: "I like Brazilians in general."

As McCoist enters the scene and is caught by Cowan, he says he's supporting Trinidad and Tobago because of former Rangers players Marvin Andrews and Russell Latapy.

But Cowan doesn't let him off the hook and says: "Walter says he really like Brazilians. Would you go with that yourself?"
