Cemal Kavasogullari walked free after jurors returned a not proven verdict following a trial at the High Court in Glasgow.
The 36 year-old was said to have attacked the woman at a flat in the city's Shawlands on November 21 2019.

The pair and others from a medical course had earlier been on a night out at Glasgow's Boteco Do Brasil bar in the Trongate area.
Prosecutors had claimed Kavasogullairi had forced himself on the woman described as allegedly being in a "drunken stupor".

The doctor, of the city's Tradeston, instead insisted both had undressed after arriving at the flat before being intimate with one another.
Kavasogullairi - who had a partner - told jurors he would "absolutely disagree" that the woman "did not know the time of day" due to her level of alcohol or that he forced himself on her.
