RECKLESS trespassers are using the railway as a shortcut in Summerston.
Pedestrians, including children, are cutting through the railway to avoid a flooded area nearby, according to ScotRail.
Due to heavy rain in recent days, the area is covered in puddles.
ScotRail said police are on scene and monitoring the area to ensure everyone's safety.

A ScotRail spokesperson said: "We're aware of a number of people (including children) using the railway as shortcut to avoid flooding in the Summerston area.
"This is extremely dangerous as well as illegal. The police are on site and are working with our staff to monitor the area in person and via CCTV."
