A statement on Bristol Bar's Facebook page reads: "Rest easy Sir Walter. The gaffer, the legend. Love the Bristol Bar."
It comes as Light Blues fans paid tribute to Smith before their game with Aberdeen at Ibrox last night.
Gers supporters unfurled banners inside the stadium to honour one of their most successful managers.
The banner read: "for deeds done and glories won, thank you Walter."
