FAMILIES enjoyed a spooktacular spectacle in the West End as this year's GlasGlow festival finally got underway after flooding saw its opening night cancelled at the eleventh hour.
People of all ages were wowed in the city's Botanic Gardens as the popular event revealed its new display to punters 24 hours later than planned.
But organisers itison have made up for lost time by treating locals to a stunning COP26-inspired display.

As we have told previously, this year's show has been designed with the climate summit in mind. GlasGlow 2021 sees the city transformed into a town under-siege with a terrifying toxic gloop.
Unlike most major events last year, the Halloween festival went ahead despite the ongoing uncertainty of the Covid pandemic.
Originally due to begin yesterday, 2021's showpiece will run until November 14.
