TWO Glasgow Times campaigns have been nominated for a top industry award.

Both our Give Our OAPs a Shot, which fought to ensure the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde offered the flu vaccine to our city's most vulnerable first last winter, and Bank On Us, which helped deliver toys to around 100,000 children last Christmas, have been shortlisted for the Making a Difference award.

The awards, which are run by the News Media Association, are part of the Journalism Matters campaign which highlights the role trusted media organisations play in creating a positive difference to society.
