Waterloo Street has been taken over close to the offices of JP Morgan.

They are staging a 'trillion dollar bash' outside the office of JP Morgan in the city's financial district.

It is understood they are calling on the bank's continued profits from and investment into fossil fuel projects and contribution to the suffering caused by the climate crisis as the Cop26 summit takes place nearby in Glasgow.

Various speakers made speeches as activists cheered and banged drums.
Several signs and flags were held up.
Dozens of police officers stood by whilst the action took place.

JP Morgan declined to comment on the protest but said this year, they launched a $2.5 trillion, 10-year financing target to support sustainable development - and $1 trillion of that will be focused on green initiatives.
