A GLASGOW coffee shop owner has invited climate activist Greta Thunberg to come by and talk with world leaders to try and stop the ‘blah blah blah’.
Aamer Arshad, owner of Blah Blah Blah on Dumbarton Road, decided to get in touch with Greta after he saw her comments about COP26 being just “blah blah blah” and will not lead to real change.
Just a few minutes drive from where COP26 is being held, Aamer believes his café would be the perfect place for her to invite world leaders and make her point with the businesses sign providing the perfect backdrop.
He said: “I think she is right.
“A lot of the leaders are talking blah blah blah.
“I do totally agree with what she’s saying and when I saw the quote that she had said I thought ‘wow’.”
A post on the coffee shop’s Instagram reads: “Greta Thunberg we would like to invite you to our coffee shop in Glasgow, Blah Blah Blah, so we can invite the world leaders to come and stop the Blah Blah Blah.”
The café, which opened in July, uses only organic food, uses recyclable products and aims to support local businesses in the area.
Greta has not yet responded to the invitation.
